We'll Beat Any Written Quote.
Hand this card to any customer comparing prices — or any crew member asked, "Can you really beat that?" Yes, here's how.
The Promise
AVO will beat any qualifying written competitor quote by 5%, down to our $89 minimum service charge.
How It Works
- Customer gets a written estimate from another licensed Denver-metro service company.
- Customer sends the estimate to AVO (email, photo, attached to the website quote form) before booking.
- AVO matches the scope of work, beats their price by 5%, and confirms the new price in writing.
- Customer approves — AVO gets to work.
What Qualifies
- Written estimate (paper, PDF, email, screenshot) from a licensed and insured Denver-metro competitor
- For a comparable scope of work — same service, same volume or area, same items
- Dated within the last 30 days
- Presented to AVO before booking
- For services in AVO's standard area: Denver, Aurora, Boulder, & the Front Range
What's Excluded
- Verbal quotes or "starting at" placeholder pricing
- Aggregator auto-quotes (Thumbtack, Yelp instant quotes)
- Quotes from unlicensed or uninsured providers
- Promotional, coupon, or one-time pricing not generally available
- Jobs AVO cannot accept liability for (hazardous materials, etc.)
- Final price cannot go below AVO's $89 minimum service charge
Worked Example
Customer shows: a $400 written quote from a national chain for a half-trailer load.
AVO published rate for a half-trailer load: from $299.
Price-beat math: $400 minus 5% = $380.
Customer pays the lower of the two — in this case AVO's published $299 already wins, so the price-beat doesn't even need to kick in. (If the competitor quote had been below $299, AVO would beat it by 5% down to the $89 floor.)
For Crew On The Job
- If a customer asks about price-matching, give them this card.
- If they hand you a competitor quote on-site, photograph it and text it to dispatch before agreeing to a price. The 5% beat is calculated then; do not promise a number on the spot.
- Add-on surcharges (heavy materials, excessive stairs, specialty disposal) are quoted separately and are not part of the price-beat calculation.
